Monday, which of course resulted in Lopez fielding questions regarding her relationship with Alex Rodriguez. After De Generes joked about Lopez being able to keep a "steady boyfriend," the star opened up about their beginnings. Their fateful run-in during a lunch of Cobb salad and tortilla soup, Lopez added, was the start of it all. "I was having lunch somewhere and I saw him and he passed by."After Lopez saw Rodriguez pass by during lunch, she went outside and tapped him on the shoulder to say hello.
When confronted about the relationship by De Generes on Monday's show, Lopez reluctantly recalled how the two kicked off their romance.
At the end of each episode, we find out if the participants want to see each other again for a second date or if they head back to love's drawing board.
"First Dates" is executive produced by Ellen De Generes and Jeff Kleeman for A Very Good Production, Pam Healey and John Hesling for Shed Media, and Tim Carter for Twenty Twenty.
"She's an amazing, amazing girl, and one of the smartest human beings I've ever met and also an incredible mother," Rodriguez said.
Everyone can relate to the experience of a first date: the promise of potential love when it goes well and the hilariously awkward moments if it crashes and burns.
From Executive Producer Ellen De Generes, narrated by Drew Barrymore and based on the hit U. format, this new series offers a voyeuristic look at a variety of real first dates happening throughout one night at the same restaurant in Chicago.
The daters are of all ages, backgrounds and from across the U. The audience comes along for the ride in a refreshingly authentic viewing experience that plays like a real-life romantic comedy.
He's a rap legend, and I have a lot of respect for that. I wanted to go a year without dating any men, I hate men.
But after talking at length about the subject, De Generes announced, “We’re going to talk about dating.” She pointed out, “There are a lot of celebrities on dating apps now. My other girlfriend said she’s going on a three-month no-swiping thing.
You wouldn’t think that they are.” Barrymore confirmed, “My friend’s on a dating app. I didn’t even know what that meant.” But thanks to the talk show host, the actress was able to get some practice right there and then. As Barrymore rejected quite a few other handsome celebs, De Generes hilariously confessed, “Even I would’ve chosen four of those guys.” John Mayer got a rather pointed, “Oh, no,” but a different John (we won’t spoil who) nearly had Barrymore jumping out of her seat.
She’s not only attractive, but she’s sort of feminine. She mentioned to you she was bisexual, and you decided to take her out just for kicks.
After just a couple of dates, you’re really into her. Not all bisexuals are confused but many are dating on both sides of the fence because they like it. It’s often about exploring life and having many different experiences.
